Greenovation Winners Announced

And the Greenovation Winners are….

Congratulations goes out to Ralph Agnoni, winner of the Grand Prize Package of Greenovation 2009!   His grand prize package, valued at $14,550, will help him take his water saving device for use with toilets to the next level.

(L to R): Katie Bell, KIZ Coordinator; Ralph Agnoni, Greenovation 2009 Winner; Jim Shillenn, IMC (Judge); Dorothy Gerring, Penn College (Judge); Charles Riddle, Riddle Patent Law (Judge); and Don Brown, Invent Yourself Rich (Judge).

The prize value increased last week thanks to Matt Artz and Form and Function Design, who donated an “Identity Creation” prize which included logo and business card designs, valued at $1,200.  Matt donated this prize because he was part of a winning team in the 2005 Great Valley Technology Alliance business plan competition in Scranton!

Congratulations also goes out to Equinox Ltd. who won the Runner Up Prize of Greenovation 2009 valued at $2,300 for their reusable Fruit, Nut & Veggie Bags.  This product line is already available for purchase on their website under “ECO-Friendly” products.

During the awards presentation, last year’s Greenovation Winner Robert Boehnlein provided attendees with an update on his project.  “The prize helped us stay on track this year,” stated Boehnlein.
